Alumni News

In preparation for our first EI Alumni Reunion (October 30-November 1), we want to highlight graduates from each decade. Any alumnus who would like to send a picture with a brief update may do so with our appreciation! Email newsletter@eigonline.org. Thanks!

Brian Fox,
Class of 98

Brian married Mandi soon after graduating. They have 3 children. Six-year-old Bradley is currently enjoying kindergarten. Justin is 4 1/2 and is doing K4 at home with mom. Lauren is 15 months old. Mandi maintains her nursing skills by working one night a week in the ER at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Brian is the Associate Pastor of Colonial Hills Baptist Church. His ministerial duties focus on the churches’ youth and visitation.

Brian is best remembered as the guy who made a cape from a dishcrew apron and zoomed around the dining room, accidentally kicking Barbara Haley’s chair from under her. Those in the dining hall laughed hysterically after watching her face register surprise a split second before disappearing beneath the table.

Jesse Wilson & Melinda Livingston Wilson,
Class of 86

Jesse and Melinda were engaged during their second year and married the summer after graduating. They moved to Texas where Jesse attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, finishing in 1989.

They have three children: Jessica (21), Jordan (17) and Melody (14). For the past 7 1/2 yrs., Jesse has been the Executive Pastor at Life Community Church in Jamestown, NC, where he serves the Lord by providing leadership in the areas of administration, discipleship and missions.

After graduating, the D’Amores and Evie (Murphy), class of 1996, went to Thailand where Dr. Ralph taught residents in KKU Medical School while Paige taught English and Evie worked at the University. All three taught English using the Bible. After 2 1/2 years, they moved back to the U.S. and settled in Greenwood, SC. Last year, Dr. Ralph retired from the ER and is now working at a nursing home. Evie married Randy Nordlund. They have three little ones: two boys (Daniel and Michael) and a girl (Paige). Kenny (Murphy), Class of 1997, is a Physician’s Assistant and has his masters in Cardiology. They all live in Greenwood, SC. All are well in every way, trusting the Lord every moment of each day and thankful for His many blessings.
